Engineering Intern – Spring Block (Actuation Team)

About the role

Moog’s Actuation team within the Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Spring Block intern. The position is based onsite in East Aurora, NY, reporting to Management, Design Engineering, and offers hands‑on experience developing new products, components, and assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new products, components, or assemblies.
• Perform conceptual and detailed design, proposal design, technical report writing, and part selection.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Offer input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Collaborate as a multidisciplinary team member and represent Moog professionally.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (specific requirement set by department).
• Willingness to relocate for the internship duration.
• Professional disposition with strong communication skills, a desire to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team.
