About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks two tenure‑track faculty members to join the School of Art as Endowed Associate Professor or Professor of Art Education. These positions are designed to advance scholarship, teaching, and service in art education at a research‑intensive university.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in art education and related fields.
• Develop and revise curriculum to reflect current research and practice.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer‑reviewed venues.
• Provide mentorship and advising to students and junior faculty.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or MFA) in Art Education or a closely related discipline.
