Endoscopy Technician – Full Time – 6:30am‑3pm

About the role

The Endoscopy Technician ensures equipment and supplies are ready for endoscopy and surgical procedures, assists in scrubbing and patient care, and supports the RN as needed. This full‑time position works a 6:30 am‑3:00 pm shift in Kenner, LA.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organize endoscopy and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to the daily schedule.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and assist the RN during endoscopy cases.
• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, communicating needs to patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain clinical knowledge, technical skills, and required certifications.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent military program, or 5 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call as needed.

Required skills

• Expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and related instruments.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
