About the role

The Guest Service Control position at Hyatt Regency New Orleans is responsible for managing room inventory to maximise sales opportunities and ensure seamless guest experiences. This role is ideal for an experienced front‑desk agent looking to step into a supervisory capacity.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimise the hotel’s room inventory, allocating blocks for groups and individual guest preferences.
  • Support guest registration processes and communicate hotel services, promotions and amenities.
  • Analyse inventory reports and provide data‑driven recommendations to the Guest Service team.
  • Lead, coach and train junior staff, delivering clear instructions and performance guidance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high guest satisfaction.

Required profile

  • Strong desire to meet guest needs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience and deep understanding of guest service operations within a hotel setting.
