About the role

Quartet Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary, NC is expanding its urgent care service into a full‑time 24/7 Emergency Department. We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to lead this growth phase and deliver high‑quality emergency care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality emergency medical and surgical care to animal patients.
• Collaborate with pet owners, referring veterinarians, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate treatment plans and follow‑up instructions clearly to clients.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the emergency service.

Required profile

• DVM or equivalent degree with experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to client education and a Fear‑Free certified approach.
