Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

About the role

Join UT Health Tyler as a full‑time night‑shift Emergency Room Registered Nurse. You will provide acute care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to seniors, in a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

Key responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients of all ages using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
• Prioritize patient needs based on assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Deliver care in accordance with physician orders, treatment protocols, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) and current Texas RN license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of emergency nursing experience (preferred) and two years of acute care experience (preferred).
• Completion of required certifications within orientation (BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, TNCC).
