Emergency Planning Support – Government & Public Services

About the role

Deloitte’s Strategy & Transactions team is seeking an experienced Project Consultant to help government and public service clients design, implement, and continuously improve emergency management, continuity, and resilience programs. The role involves working directly with client leadership to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance emergency management and continuity programs for federal, state, and local government clients.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to strengthen operational resilience and mission assurance capabilities.
• Provide guidance on policy strategy, project management, and crisis response planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in emergency management.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Required skills

• Experience in emergency management program design and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of policy strategy and project management methodologies.
