Emergency Department Radiologist (Division Lead)

About the role

Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Radiologist to lead the Emergency Radiology Division. This is a full-time faculty position based in Philadelphia, with overnight shifts, resident education and oversight of the Emergency Division.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Emergency Radiology Division and its clinical work
• Provide overnight shifts
• Educate residents
• Collaborate with medical and surgical specialists on patient evaluation

Required profile

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Emergency, Trauma or Body Imaging (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in emergency radiology preferred
• Experience in academic medicine, faculty development and research initiatives
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
