Embedded Software Engineer – On‑site

About the role

We are looking for Embedded Software Engineers to develop, test, and integrate software that drives and simulates advanced flight systems. The position covers the full technology stack, from applications and operating systems to networking, firmware, and simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable autonomous software systems for flight hardware.
• Develop and run simulations to validate software precision and system dependability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and prototyping to testing, integration, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and perform hands‑on integration and debugging.
• Create tools for virtualized hardware, hardware‑in‑the‑loop, and vehicle‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on advanced flight‑system capabilities and guidance algorithms.
• Lead major software projects when appropriate and support testing at launch or customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with systems programming in C++, Python, or Rust.
• Familiarity with Linux‑based development and low‑level hardware interfaces (e.g., UART, I2C).
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
