Elementary Teacher – K‑3 Co‑Teaching Role

About the role

BASIS Baton Rouge Materra Campus is hiring an Elementary Teacher for the 2026/27 school year. You will work as a Learning Expert Teacher (LET) in a co‑teaching model, partnering with Subject Expert Teachers to deliver individualized instruction and support student growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cohort of K‑3 (or K‑4) students through daily classroom transitions.
• Collaborate with the Subject Expert Teacher for each class period.
• Provide individualized or small‑group instruction using elementary education methods.
• Maintain classroom behavior standards to create a functional learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education or a related field.
• Valid fingerprint clearance and/or satisfactory state background check.
• Demonstrated passion for student achievement and a commitment to raising individual outcomes.
