About the role
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking energetic elementary school tutors to provide in‑home and online academic support aligned with the Louisiana curriculum. The role involves creating personalized learning plans and collaborating with parents to track progress.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver academic support based on the Louisiana curriculum, focusing on understanding rather than memorization.
- Develop customized learning plans and offer remedial or enrichment opportunities as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, challenges, and successes.
Required profile
- Current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education or a qualified teacher (or teacher‑candidate) in the United States.
- Passionate about teaching, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
