Electronics Technician

About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking an Electronics Technician to support campus facilities and research labs. This skilled crafts and trades position works a day shift and offers a regular, full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and instrumentation.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions on circuit boards and control systems.
• Document work orders, test results, and maintenance logs in accordance with university standards.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other technicians to ensure reliable operation of laboratory and classroom electronics.
• Adhere to safety protocols and university policies while handling hazardous materials and tools.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electronics preferred.
• Experience in a similar electronics maintenance or repair role.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
