Electrical Physical Designer – Energy & Industrial

About the role

This position allows you to apply and grow your drafting expertise while collaborating with engineers and designers on energy and industrial projects. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending three days in the office and two days remote, using both 2D and 3D computer‑aided design tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed design drawings based on project input and specifications.
• Develop 3D models and scale drawings that show the relationship of new installations to existing facilities.
• Participate in site walkdowns with senior designers to gather accurate field data.
• Communicate drawings to vendors and contractors and incorporate feedback for design adjustments.
• Maintain multi‑project workload and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.

Required profile

• Associate degree in drafting or high‑school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
• Five or more years of physical design experience.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Ability to visualize components in 3D without software assistance.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (read, write, speak).
