Electrical Engineer

About the role

Rainmaker is building an integrated cloud‑seeding system to increase freshwater availability. The Electrical Engineer will join the Engineering team, reporting to the Electrical Engineering Lead, and work on mission‑critical subsystems for our UAS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical subsystems for weather‑resistant UAS and dispersion payloads.
• Integrate radar validation, in‑situ and remote sensing hardware into the overall system.
• Collaborate with software and mechanical teams to ensure reliable operation in harsh weather conditions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work on complex, mission‑critical hardware projects.
• Experience in aerospace or environmental engineering applications is preferred.

• UAS (unmanned aerial systems) hardware development
• Radar integration and validation
• Numerical weather modeling or related data analysis
