Electrical Engineer – Avionics Design (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in avionics design to develop, integrate, and test advanced aerospace electronic systems. The role involves full‑cycle PCB development, power management design, and embedded hardware integration for mission‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end PCB design, from requirements gathering to testing, debugging, and system integration.
• Design and integrate microcontroller‑based systems, perform hardware bring‑up, and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
• Develop power management and distribution architectures, including low‑ and high‑voltage power electronics.
• Create system interconnect diagrams, define cable harnesses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
• Experience with power system analysis, electrical loading, simulation, and validation.

Required skills

• Mixed‑signal PCB design (multilayer, impedance matching, grounding, filtering, protection).
• Power design and management, low‑ and high‑voltage power electronics.
• Microcontroller design, hardware bring‑up, and embedded system integration.
• System interconnect diagrams and cable harness design.
• Laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, benchtop power supplies, electronic loads.
• Communication interfaces: CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS‑232/422, RS‑485, USB.
