Education & Training Manager – North America (Contract)

About the role

As the Education & Training Manager for North America, you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs for L’Occitane’s retail teams across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on brand, product knowledge and customer‑experience training to drive sales performance and talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses and identify gaps in existing retail training programs.
• Design, develop and deliver engaging face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions.
• Provide on‑site coaching to retail staff on product knowledge, selling behaviors and customer experience.
• Create and continuously improve training materials, both digital and physical.
• Monitor training effectiveness through satisfaction surveys, stakeholder feedback and KPI tracking.
• Manage training budgets and ensure cost‑effective execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and external stakeholders to align training with the retail roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience in retail education or training, preferably in beauty, skincare or luxury retail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for both in‑person and virtual settings.
• Collaborative, relationship‑driven approach and comfortable working with internal and external partners.
• Curious, agile learner who embraces new tools and technologies.
• Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month across the US and Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus.
