About the role
Innovamat is seeking a Mathematics Education Specialist to lead the adoption of its research‑based math programs in schools across the United States. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will partner directly with teachers and school leaders to transform classroom instruction and inspire student passion for mathematics.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver personalized professional‑development journeys for teachers, tailoring coaching plans to each school’s needs.
- Coach teachers in live classroom settings through observations, modeling, and feedback cycles.
- Facilitate hands‑on PD workshops that promote thinking‑oriented math instruction.
- Build and nurture a community of math educators across the region.
- Travel 30–50% of the time to schools and districts to ensure successful program adoption.
Required profile
- Strong academic background in mathematics and teacher training.
- Experience teaching elementary‑level mathematics is highly desirable.
- Passion for applying cutting‑edge research to classroom practice.
