Economic Development Instructor (Part‑Time)

About the role

The State of Georgia, through North Georgia Technical College, seeks a part‑time Economic Development Instructor to deliver non‑credit workforce training across the region. You will support businesses by teaching essential safety, quality, and compliance topics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom, laboratory, and on‑site training on industrial safety, quality systems, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare instructional materials and assess student progress against defined objectives.
• Collaborate with the Economic Development Department to ensure training programs meet employer demand and operate profitably.
• Teach day, evening, or weekend sessions at multiple locations, including other NGTC campuses.
• Travel as needed to support off‑site training requests.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, industrial operations, construction, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety, quality, audits, and compliance.
