Early Childhood Education Instructional Provider (12‑month)

About the role

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Instructional Provider will work under the direction of the ECE Administrator to deliver a high‑quality preschool program. This 12‑month position involves direct instruction, activity facilitation, and supervision of young learners in a classroom setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily preschool activities aligned with curriculum goals.
• Provide age‑appropriate instruction and support to preschool children.
• Supervise children to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress, and any incidents.
• Collaborate with the ECE Administrator and other staff to improve program quality.

Required profile

• Some experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Completion of 6 units of ECE or Child Development courses from an accredited program, or a certificate from an accredited HERO program.
• Minimum of 48 college credit units (or pass the district proficiency exam) to satisfy ESSA requirements.
• Valid California driver’s license or state/federal ID, high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Resume and official transcripts required.
