About the role

Reframe Systems is seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join its factory team, producing high‑quality modular housing components in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels to fit walls, ceilings, and openings around windows, doors, outlets, and other penetrations.
• Lift, position, and securely fasten drywall panels to wood or metal framing using screw guns, ensuring proper fastener spacing and depth.
• Stagger and align seams to minimize finishing work and maximize structural integrity.
• Install drywall on ceilings using lifts or with a partner, maintaining level and plumb surfaces.
• Cut openings accurately for electrical boxes, HVAC penetrations, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Inspect framing prior to hanging, flag issues to supervisors, and verify panel selection matches specifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience hanging drywall, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, work overhead or on ladders for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with measuring, cutting, and fastening techniques.
• Use of screw guns, utility knives, rasps, T‑squares, routers, and drywall lifts.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
