Driver – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking reliable, safety‑conscious drivers to join our client’s moving and logistics team in Jersey City. The role involves operating company trucks, transporting household or commercial goods, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport household and commercial goods to customer locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other items.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all DOT and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license (non‑CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours as needed.
• Previous driving, moving, delivery, or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
