Downhole Tool Assistant – Field Coordination & QAQC

About the role

The Downhole Tool Assistant supports Fortress’s Downhole Tool product line by coordinating field activities, performing quality assurance and quality control, and executing standard operating procedures. This role ensures that tools delivered to customers meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of Cyclops Setting Tools to customer field locations.
• Wash, tear down, and rebuild Cyclops Setting Tools following Fortress work instructions under supervision.
• Document each step of the Cyclops Recycling Program using iFortress software.
• Maintain and prepare all necessary equipment and tools for job execution.
• Assist with tool delivery and pickup as required.
• Uphold professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all interactions.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience with downhole tools or similar field equipment.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work weekends and holidays when needed.
• Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal communication, and operational management abilities.
• Clean driving record; CDL is a plus; able to pass drug screening and background check.

• Basic hand‑tool usage
• Ability to lift at least 75 lb
