Division Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead – Military Aircraft

About the role
Moog’s Military Aircraft Group seeks a Division Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to provide technical and program execution leadership across the full product lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IPT Leads, the role will be based onsite in Buffalo, NY and may also work from East Aurora, NY or Torrance, CA. The leader will drive cross‑functional collaboration to deliver innovative, high‑quality solutions that meet customer commitments and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide IPT leadership for development, production, and sustainment programs within the Military Aircraft Group.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, and program management to meet technical, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Lead resolution of complex technical, production, and field‑performance challenges.
- Apply earned value management, critical path analysis, forecasting, and risk management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Serve as primary technical interface with customers, building trusted relationships through transparent communication.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense or a closely related industry.
- 5+ years supporting complex product development programs.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through influence rather than direct authority.
- Experience driving execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality and supply‑chain functions.
