District Leasing Manager - Northern New Jersey

About the role

The District Leasing Manager will lead leasing strategy, marketing execution, and sales performance for Greystar communities in Northern New Jersey. This regional position combines leadership, strategic execution, and team performance oversight to achieve revenue, occupancy, and absorption goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist properties during the first 30 days of transition, ensuring leasing systems, workflow, and team training are in place.
• Drive community revenue and occupancy by monitoring conversion metrics, adjusting pricing strategies, and overseeing leasing performance.
• Onboard, train, and manage leasing team members, providing real‑time coaching and performance accountability.
• Standardize prospect and tour experiences, conduct audits, and maintain brand consistency.
• Lead traffic‑driving initiatives such as marketing campaigns, outreach events, and community collaborations.
• Travel across the NJ portfolio to support vacancies, low occupancy trends, and staffing shortages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of sales, marketing, or customer service experience with 1‑3 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in Internet use, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on property.

• Salary range $70,000 – $72,000 per year.
