Director, TMET, USA

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Director for its Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment and Technology (TMET) franchise in the Americas, based in New York. The Director drives growth by originating and executing new business, building senior client relationships and positioning ANZ as a trusted banking partner to leading TMET companies. The role works with Coverage, Transaction Banking, Markets and other product partners, and contributes market insights to the franchise strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute new business opportunities across the TMET sector, building a pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities and new-to-bank relationships, mainly with investment-grade clients
• Build and deepen relationships with key TMET clients, including hyperscalers, data centre operators and other technology-focused organisations
• Partner with Coverage, Transaction Banking, Markets, Credit, Risk and Product teams to deliver coordinated client strategies and integrated banking solutions
• Provide sector expertise, market intelligence and strategic insights to support client engagement, business development and portfolio growth
• Support cross-border opportunities across ANZ's international network, helping clients access solutions across multiple markets and jurisdictions

Required profile

• Extensive experience within the TMET sector
• Experience covering American TMET clients, including hyperscalers and data centre operators
• Strong origination and client relationship skills, including the ability to build relationships across ANZ's network
• Active deal generation and solutions orientation

Required skills

• Receivables financing and payables financing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and influencing skills

What we offer

• Base salary range of US$265,000 - $285,000 per year, depending on capabilities, skills and knowledge
