Director, Product Owner, Salesforce

About the role

Ryan is hiring a Director, Product Owner for its global Salesforce Sales Cloud and other Salesforce-integrated solutions. The role leads the vision and executes the strategic product roadmap, acts as the voice of the end-user and bridges business stakeholders and technical teams. It is a hybrid position based in the Plano, TX office.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal and client stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements and champion product benefits to executives and practice leaders.
• Own and evolve the Salesforce product roadmap, translating business needs into user stories, epics and acceptance criteria.
• Lead and manage the delivery of enhancements through sprint and release planning, grooming the backlog and prioritizing it with stakeholders.
• Work with the Salesforce Architecture team, the training team and product management teams to ensure data integrity and adoption.
• Oversee change management, training, communication plans and the governance of Salesforce changes.
• Supervise Salesforce product team members in the Global Clients and Markets practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a related field.
• 8-10+ years of product management experience, including at least 5-7 years as a Salesforce Product Owner in a complex, global environment.
• Valid driver's license; occasional independent travel (10%).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Agile approaches (e.g., DAD, SAFe, Kanban) and Salesforce governance frameworks.
• Creating and maintaining user stories, product backlogs and roadmaps.
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Product Owner) preferred.
