Director, Operations Finance

About the role

Planet Fitness is seeking a Director of Operations Finance to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis for its Corporate Club Operations business. This senior finance leader will partner with Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Development, Construction and other cross‑functional teams to deliver insights that drive profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual planning process, quarterly forecasts and monthly performance reporting for a multi‑unit portfolio.
• Conduct long‑range financial analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize investments and enhance overall financial performance.
• Collaborate closely with operational leaders to translate business objectives into actionable financial insights.
• Advance FP&A processes, reporting capabilities and financial models to support scalable, data‑driven decision‑making.
• Serve as a trusted finance business partner, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading FP&A or finance functions in a multi‑unit or corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to work effectively with cross‑functional partners.
• Demonstrated track record of driving financial performance improvements.
