Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing leads commercial growth for industrial construction projects across the Southeast, driving new opportunities and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively pursue new industrial construction work in chemical, power, pulp & paper, data centers and general industrial markets, leveraging existing site‑level contacts.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline within a 6‑hour radius of the company’s offices, acting as the face of the company in client meetings, plant visits and industry events.
• Lead proposal development, including writing, PowerPoint creation and commercial package assembly, and conduct first‑pass contract reviews and redlines.
• Partner with operations leaders to ensure successful project delivery and align client expectations.

Required profile

• 15+ years of industry experience with 3–5 years at Director or VP level in industrial construction business development.
• Proven ability to generate immediate traction using local contacts and a strong hunter mentality.
• Stable career progression with experience in fast‑moving, non‑bureaucratic environments.
