About the role

Handtevy is seeking a Director of Sales and Business Development to lead its growing sales team and personally manage the largest enterprise accounts. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and working closely with the CEO and Co‑Founder/CMO, you will inherit an existing pipeline and have latitude to shape the sales playbook.

Key responsibilities

  • Own enterprise accounts, including major hospital systems and multi‑state EMS agencies.
  • Build and coach a high‑performing sales team, establishing regular coaching cadences.
  • Maintain forecast methodology and pipeline discipline across the team.
  • Ensure qualification rigor and mutual close planning for late‑stage opportunities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and ramp new Account Executives using a documented onboarding playbook.
  • Engage directly in complex, multi‑stakeholder deals and procurement‑led contracts.

Required profile

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years carrying an enterprise quota.
  • 3+ years of sales management experience with proven success building or scaling teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex deals where the economic buyer differs from the end user.
  • Fluency with government and committee‑led procurement cycles.
  • Strong perspective on net‑new logo acquisition versus account expansion.
  • Documented forecast accuracy and discipline.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and modern revenue intelligence and sales engagement platforms.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare technology, clinical software, or medical device sales, especially selling into EMS agencies, hospital emergency departments, or fire/EMS systems.
