Director of Product Management, Financial Simulation and Modeling

SandboxAQ is seeking a senior product leader to drive its AI Generation Engine (SAIGE) portfolio focused on finance and risk modeling. The Director of Product Management will own product strategy, work closely with financial services and insurance customers, and lead rapid prototyping of AI‑driven solutions.

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for finance/risk use cases such as portfolio risk, capital modeling, underwriting and analytics.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, ML engineers and domain experts to translate customer problems into clear product requirements and data needs.
• Lead 0→1 product discovery, hypothesis testing, lightweight customer validation and rapid iteration of prototypes.
• Prioritize opportunities across multiple domains, balancing impact and feasibility, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders (heads of risk, actuaries, CROs) and guide pilots through adoption.

• 10+ years of product management experience, primarily on complex B2B or platform products.
• Deep background in financial services or insurance, especially risk modeling, financial simulation, scenario analysis or portfolio analytics.
• Proven ability to work with quantitative researchers, ML engineers and cross‑functional teams in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details into business value for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
