Director of Press & Communications

About the role

BVLGARI is seeking a Director of Press & Communications to shape and execute its North American communications strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Marketing & Communications, you will lead a high‑performing team and partner with global headquarters in Rome to ensure brand consistency and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the North American communications plan aligned with global brand objectives.
• Drive earned media coverage across fashion, luxury, lifestyle, business, culture and entertainment outlets.
• Build and nurture relationships with editors, journalists, producers and media partners.
• Craft compelling brand narratives, press releases, talking points and executive messaging.
• Lead communications for product launches, store openings, exhibitions, ambassador announcements and cultural partnerships.
• Oversee media attendance, press experiences and editorial engagement at key events.
• Support senior leadership with speeches, interviews, presentations and internal communications.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in press, public relations or communications within luxury, fashion or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior executives.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a communications team.
• Excellent storytelling ability and deep understanding of media landscapes in North America.
