Director of Partnerships and Strategic Growth

About the role

The Director of Partnerships and Strategic Growth reports to the Managing Director of the Southeast Network Corridor and serves as a senior member of the Northeastern Miami Campus team. The role focuses initially on health‑sector partnerships in Miami’s vibrant health‑innovation ecosystem, later expanding to other strategic sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Engage healthcare leaders, alumni, and community organizations to raise awareness of Northeastern’s mission and capabilities, and represent the campus at regional health and innovation forums.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of health‑sector partnerships, set measurable enrollment and experiential‑learning goals, and present at industry conferences and summits.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of partnerships, track engagement through university CRM tools, provide regular reports to leadership, and collaborate with marketing, academic programs, and philanthropy to enhance visibility and pipeline growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Healthcare Administration or related field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 8‑10 years of business development, partnership management, or healthcare administration experience, preferably within South Florida’s health ecosystem.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, with strong corporate outreach and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to operate in matrixed environments while representing the campus with professionalism.
