Director of Manufacturing, Pellets

About the role

Traeger is seeking a Director of Manufacturing for its pellet business. The role leads operational excellence across owned and contract pellet facilities worldwide, reporting to the Pellet Business Operations team at headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and oversee a high‑performing manufacturing network that includes domestic and international owned plants and contract manufacturers.
• Define, track and continuously improve KPIs for safety, quality, delivery and cost, holding sites to world‑class standards.
• Champion on‑time, in‑full, on‑quality fulfillment as a non‑negotiable operational standard.
• Drive asset reliability programs to ensure equipment uptime and maintenance support production commitments.
• Embed a continuous‑improvement culture using LEAN methodologies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Translate operational data into strategic insights, identifying waste and delivering cost and efficiency gains.
• Own manufacturing performance reporting and provide executive visibility into operational health.
• Define long‑range strategic vision, capacity road‑maps and business continuity plans for pellet operations.
• Lead capacity planning, capital investment strategy and scenario modeling for new opportunities.
• Build and manage the annual CAPEX plan in partnership with Finance.
• Develop and execute end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for pellet inputs.
