Director of Global Academic Programs and Partnerships

About the role

The Director of Global Academic Programs and Partnerships leads Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business (MSB) global academic portfolio and experiential learning initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Global Strategic Planning and Operations, the role ensures that international programs are academically rigorous, operationally seamless, and aligned with the school’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for the Global Business Experience and MBA exchange partnerships.
• Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to shape MSB’s global strategy.
• Manage relationships with international universities, global vendors, U.S. Embassy officials, corporate partners, alumni, and faculty.
• Coordinate global academic initiatives across undergraduate, specialized master’s, and MBA programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, higher education administration, global affairs, or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in academic program management, global partnerships, or international education.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex international academic collaborations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and intercultural fluency skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using data management tools for program administration.
