Director of Client Services - Chicago

About the role

Greystar, a global real estate platform focused on institutional-quality rental housing, is hiring a Director of Client Services for its Chicago office. The role leads and coordinates the client services function, driving new business development while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. It is not remote and requires working from the Chicago office; candidates must live in the Chicago area and be available onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients, review their feedback, resolve complaints and respond quickly to client needs.
• Lead new business and market development: identify potential clients, cultivate relationships, solicit business, prepare formal proposals and follow up to close deals.
• Help set annual business goals and budgets for the client services group by projecting new clients and management fees, and report progress regularly.
• Analyze market trends and opportunities, prepare reports for senior management and recommend actions to protect client relationships and market position.
• Set up internal communication networks and client relationship management systems, and develop marketing materials and collateral for current and prospective clients.
• Coordinate due diligence assignments and act as liaison with brokers for new fee management business.
• Improve client satisfaction by running surveys, reviewing results and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• Complete HR, financial and administrative reports and other duties as assigned.

What we offer

• Salary range of $145,000 to $165,000+, depending on experience; possible quarterly or annual bonus for corporate positions, and weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses for onsite property positions.
