Director of Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS)

About the role

JCCS is seeking a strategic Director of Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS) to lead and expand its advisory practice across Montana. This senior leader will shape the future of CAS, build high‑performing teams, and deliver high‑impact financial insights to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, growth, and overall performance of the CAS practice.
• Build, manage, and develop a high‑performing CAS team.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on financial performance and business decisions.
• Establish and grow a book of business through business development and client relationship management.
• Oversee delivery of CAS engagements to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency.
• Develop and improve processes, workflows, and service offerings.
• Drive adoption and optimization of technology and tools within the CAS function.
• Collaborate with tax, audit, and firm leadership to deliver integrated client solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Active CPA or CMA license.
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting, advisory, or CAS services.
• Proven experience leading teams, departments, or service lines.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and advisory services.
