Director of Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program

About the role

Albany Technical College seeks an experienced, collaborative leader to direct its Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program. The Director will provide academic, administrative and operational oversight to ensure program quality, accreditation compliance and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of the ASN curriculum, including classroom, lab, simulation and clinical components.
• Supervise nursing faculty, manage staffing, workload, professional development and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Georgia Board of Nursing, ACEN standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budget, resource allocation, scheduling, enrollment planning and clinical partnership development.
• Collect and analyze program data to drive evidence‑based decisions and maintain accreditation readiness.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, student achievement and faculty leadership.
• Experience in nursing education administration, curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Strong collaborative and decision‑making skills with ability to engage stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of nursing education standards (GBON, ACEN) and regulatory compliance.
• Budget management and resource planning.
