Director, Finance Business Partner US Customer Planning

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior finance leader to partner with the US Customer Planning team. The Director, Finance Business Partner will support the EVP and account teams by driving planning, reporting and business partnering activities for key US accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the customer planning process and coordinate budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring for the account team.
• Produce financial reports covering revenue streams, budget utilization and cost allocations.
• Provide financial inputs for objective setting, SIP targeting and compensation measurement during annual business planning.
• Develop and review business cases and financial models, train account teams on best practices, and audit performance of active agreements.
• Participate in the creation, review and approval of business development proposals and finalizing contracts.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables, including performance tracking, incentive variance analysis, risk and opportunity assessments.
• Supply analytics and reporting to US Finance, account teams and other Mastercard stakeholders.
• Motivate, coach and develop finance staff to ensure high‑quality support for the account team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven finance or general management experience, preferably within the payments industry.
• Ability to balance customer‑centric and finance‑centric perspectives.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
