About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a visionary leader to direct the Division of Women, Children and Nursing Services. This senior position guides programs that improve health outcomes for mothers, children, and families across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and ensure compliance with public health standards.
• Lead the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of Child Health, Women’s Health, Home Visiting, Telemedicine, Oral Health, Nursing, and Pharmacy programs.
• Oversee internal operations, including policy development, personnel functions, training, and workforce initiatives.
• Manage division budgets, monitor financial performance, and prepare legislative responses.
• Represent the division in meetings with state leaders, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Foster statewide partnerships and collaborative initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in public health or nursing.
• Strong administrative, communication, and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working with government agencies and community organizations.
