Director, Direct-to-Patient Marketing – Contact Lenses

About the role

Alcon is seeking a senior marketing leader to drive direct‑to‑patient (DTP) initiatives for its US contact lens business. Reporting to the Senior Director of Contact Lenses Marketing, you will shape an integrated strategy that amplifies the brand’s consumer presence while supporting professional eye‑care marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the DTP strategy, complementing professional marketing investments.
• Build capabilities in content strategy, omnichannel orchestration, marketing technology, data/identity enablement, test‑and‑learn optimization, and measurement.
• Lead multi‑channel digital, social, and media campaigns—including influencer marketing, SEO, social media, CRM, and PR—to grow patient awareness, acquisition, and retention.
• Leverage patient data, analytics, and AI‑driven content tools to personalize outreach and improve ROI.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Digital Products, Insights & Analytics, and global franchise teams.
• Maintain consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints and ensure alignment with eye‑care professionals.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing marketing strategies for vision‑care or contact‑lens products.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with eye‑care professionals.
• Experience evaluating brand performance and leading promotional activities.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
