Director, Corporate Communications

About the role

The Director of Corporate Communications will shape Oura’s external narrative and lead the strategy, development and execution of corporate, financial, executive and crisis communications. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Communications, this senior leader will advise executive leadership and partner with teams across product, brand, science, healthcare and commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Oura’s corporate communications strategy, aligning it with business priorities and global brand objectives.
• Serve as senior communications counselor to the executive team, shaping narrative, reputation strategy and communications priorities.
• Develop and execute communication plans for major milestones, product launches, strategic partnerships and regional activations.
• Lead internal and external storytelling to ensure a clear, differentiated and consistent company narrative.
• Manage crisis communications, providing rapid, credible responses to protect the brand.
• Collaborate with product, brand, science, healthcare and commercial teams to integrate messaging across all channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising C‑suite executives and leading corporate, executive, external and crisis communications in a high‑growth or large‑scale organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex business, health, science and technology topics into clear stories.
• Strategic thinker who can operate in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Experience in consumer technology, healthcare, financial communications or navigating significant corporate milestones is a plus.
