Director, Corporate Communications Campaigns

About the role

Starbucks is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications Campaigns to shape and amplify the company’s most compelling stories. You will lead both proactive and reactive communications, using modern media approaches to translate complex business information into engaging narratives for diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and execute integrated communications campaigns that reinforce Starbucks’ reputation as a purpose‑driven employer.
• Design always‑on strategies across partner experience, community impact, sustainability, and ESG topics, leveraging owned, earned, and digital channels.
• Lead rapid‑response communications on ESG, employer brand, and social impact issues, crafting messaging that protects and advances the brand.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite executives, providing strategic counsel and measurable shifts in perception.
• Champion modern communications tools and methods within the global communications function.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading integrated, multi‑channel communications programs.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and create clear pathways forward.
• Strong media relationships and a track record of influencing public perception.
• People‑leadership skills to set goals, coach broadly, and build well‑rounded communications teams.
