Direct Support Professional – Part‑Time (1st & 2nd Shift)

About the role

Join the Charles Lea Center in Greenville, NC as a Direct Support Professional, providing compassionate assistance to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. This part‑time position offers 1st and 2nd shift opportunities with rotating weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration.
• Support participation in community outings, activities, and skill‑building programs.
• Promote independence and dignity in every interaction.
• Document daily notes, training steps, and updates using the Therap system.
• Communicate important information to supervisors and team members.
• Follow safety, infection‑control, and agency policies.
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred (DSP, CNA, PCA, RBT, Med Tech, caregiver).
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.
