Direct Care Worker – Immediate Openings

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to join our team immediately. You will provide in‑home support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and arrange transportation as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments, manage medication reminders, and assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and grooming.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support general living needs.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement to promote mental and social well‑being.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to stand, bend, kneel, or reach for extended periods.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with mobile applications for training and communication.
• Familiarity with video‑conferencing tools such as Zoom.
