Direct Care Worker

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. In this role you will provide safe, respectful, and dignified support to elderly, disabled, and intellectually‑challenged participants in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Provide home assistance such as light housekeeping, running errands, and transportation when needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and offer medication reminders.
• Prepare meals, shop for food, and support general living needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Offer companionship and conversation to stimulate and encourage participants.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to treat participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
