Digital Content Specialist

About the role

The Digital Content Specialist supports the Digital Content Manager in creating and delivering innovative learning content for Elsevier/NHE products such as Sherpath and Adaptive Quizzing. This role manages digital projects from inception through production release, collaborating with SMEs, instructional designers, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan digital content development and delivery cadence, leading stand‑up meetings with internal and external partners.
• Ensure SMEs deliver work on schedule, identify risks, and work with the manager to mitigate them.
• Consolidate reviews, manage queries, and maintain quality and on‑time delivery of content.
• Perform high‑level reviews of outlines, assessments, and storyboards, coordinating classification mapping and ancillary tasks.
• Oversee build content delivery, UAT fixes, and ensure gold‑standard release of assigned courses.

Required profile

• B.A./B.S. in English or related field.
• At least two years of experience in digital content development and media production.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work independently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with EPUB, HTML5, HTML, XML.
• Experience with AI‑assisted authoring or content tools.
• Knowledge of publishing processes and MS Office.
