Diesel Technician – Third Shift

About the role

Join a leading transportation company as a Diesel Technician on the third shift in Tyler, TX. You will develop your maintenance expertise while performing inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacements on a fleet of tractors and trailers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and annual inspections on tractors and trailers.
• Execute express services such as tire changes, brake adjustments, and minor electrical repairs.
• Diagnose issues and replace faulty components to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers throughout the work process.

Required profile

• Technical degree in diesel technology or a related field, or at least one year of diesel technician experience.
• Experience using computer systems for diagnostics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to provide personal tools within 30 days of hire.
