Diagnostic Radiologist – Hybrid (Board Certified/Eligible)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join its Meridian, MS location. The position is hybrid, offering both remote and onsite work, and accepts J‑1 visa holders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daytime coverage of outpatient and inpatient radiology examinations across Ochsner community hospitals, outpatient facilities, and urgent care centers.
• Participate in after‑hours emergency department coverage through Ochsner’s emergency radiologists or contracted teleradiology services.
• Perform weekend coverage on a rotating basis (approximately one in eight weekends) and a late shift (12 pm–8 pm) each month.
• Read screening and diagnostic breast imaging, including digital breast tomosynthesis (MQSA qualification preferred).
• Offer interventional radiology coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training.
• Eligible for part‑time or full‑time employment.
• MQSA qualification for breast imaging preferred.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule.

Required skills

• Interpretation of diagnostic radiology studies.
• Breast imaging expertise, including digital breast tomosynthesis.
• Interventional radiology procedures.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
