Diagnostic Medical Sonographer / Vascular Technologist (Evening Shift)

About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer / Registered Vascular Technologist working the evening shift at the Gilbertsville facility. You will provide high‑acuity ultrasound and vascular imaging services to emergency, inpatient, and outpatient patients, including trauma and ICU cases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound and vascular examinations of designated anatomy according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Assist with specialized exams such as advanced vascular studies and procedures using state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment.
• Maintain quality control, ensure proper consents, and prepare diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Participate in call rotations and collaborate with radiologists to establish imaging parameters and protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved CAHEA diagnostic medical sonography program and in good standing with ARDMS.
• Ability to handle confidential medical information ethically and provide excellent customer service.
• Physical ability to lift 40‑50 lb, stand for long periods, and perform patient transfers.
• Valid Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
