DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

LufCo is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, secure, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, development environments, infrastructure, and containerized platforms for a DoD program in Aberdeen, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automated deployments using Ansible and cloud services.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or Podman.
• Support DoD security, RMF, and ATO activities through automation and secure technical controls.
• Troubleshoot pipeline, infrastructure, application, networking, and container issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant technical experience, including 4+ years in DevSecOps or CI/CD.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% to customer locations.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Ansible).
• Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Podman.
• Linux (RHEL) and Windows system administration.
• Scripting with Bash and Python.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud architecture on AWS.
• DoD RMF and ATO processes.
